Welcome to Ellesborough Parish Council

Welcome to the Ellesborough Parish Council website.

Ellesborough stands at the edge of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) with The Coombe Hill memorial and Cymbeline’s Mount within its boundaries as well as two churches, The Russell Arms public house, sports field and playground.

A network of footpaths and bridleways, including the Ridgeway National Path criss-cross the beautiful landscape and the area is enjoyed by many serious hikers and more leisurely walkers as well as an increasing number of cyclists.

We have rare Orchids on the escarpments, Bluebell woods on the hills and an increasing population of Red Kites and Glis Glis.

The local community is vibrant with numerous local societies and organised events. We have a Silver Band, thriving Chiltern Brewery and Terrick Beef farm shop.
